Frankie Sue Clark

Services have not yet been planned for Frankie Sue Clark, 86, who endured cancer and leukemia and died Jan. 29, 2024, at Windsor Gardens retirement community in Denver.

Born Dec. 22, 1937, to Frank and Nina Ullum, Frankie Sue lived her early life in Peabody, where she married and had two children.

She remarried and lived with husband James Clark in Ardmore, Oklahoma, where she retired from the Ardmore schools after 20 years.

Next, they moved to Wichita Falls, Texas, to be with their grandchildren, Kaylee and Forrest, until they moved to Denver in 2014.

She is survived by her husband, James Clark; son Mark Schmidt (and Douglas Dring) of Denver; daughter Lori Cook (and Mark Cook) of Tin Top, Texas; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Frankie Sue loved to travel and has seen many parts of this world along with her husband, James.

She was an avid member of Red Hat Society, loved trying new restaurants in Denver, and enjoyed living at Windsor Gardens, where she had many friends.
