The Trojans played Monday at the Southeast of Saline and placed seventh out of nine teams.
Leading the pack for Hillsboro was Lincoln Wichert, who placed 17th with a score of 91.
Braxton Hiebert placed 30th; Annaliese Jorgenson, 36th; Monroe James, 45th; and Nathan Hill, 47th.
Hillsboro’s next varsity invitational will be Tuesday in Halstead.
Goessel
Despite two golfers being gone on a senior trip, Goessel sent a team Monday to Pretty Prairie and came home with fifth place.
Despite a 30 mph wind, Levi Schrag hit a season-best 86 to finish in eighth place individually.
Anthony Boden also scored his best round of the season with 109, Luke Stucky finished with 112, and Jack Nickel followed with a 119.
