Kids will scramble for eggs

Friday
Hillsboro children will have two opportunities to hunt for Easter eggs on Good Friday. Parkside Homes will be host for an Easter egg hunt at 2:30 p.m. Then Salem Home will have an Easter egg hunt at 3 p.m.
Saturday
Saturday will bring the joy of racing around to find the most brightly colored Easter eggs and tasty treats in other towns throughout the county.
Lincolnville’s Easter egg hunt will begin at 10 a.m. at City Park.
Tampa’s Easter egg hunt for children 12 and younger also will begin at 10 a.m. at the city park and ball field.
Peabody’s community Easter egg hunt, sponsored by Peabody Health and Rehab, for children in 5th grade and younger, will begin at 10 a.m. at City Park.
Hillsboro Kiwanis will have an egg hunt at 10 a.m. in Memorial Park.
Marion’s community Easter egg hunt for children 8 years old and younger will begin at 10:30 a.m. on the lawn of Marion City Library. The Easter bunny will show up for photos.
Florence’s Easter egg hunt, complete with a visit from the Easter bunny, will be 3:30 p.m. at Grandview Park.
Marion County Emergency Medical Service will sponsor an Easter egg hunt for children up to age 11 at 4 p.m. Saturday at 410 N. Ash St., Hillsboro.
Walters Pumpkin Patch, south of Burns, will sponsor an airdropped egg hunt with baby animals and an appearance by Cadbury the Bunny. Farm grounds will open 10 a.m., a ground egg hunt will begin at 10:30 a.m., an airplane egg drop will be at 11:30 a.m., and farm grounds will close at 3 p.m. Admission is $12.95 per person.
A haunted bunny maze for all ages will open at 7:30 p.m. with the last ride at 9 p.m. Maze admission is $25 a person.
