Marjory Boese

The family of Marjory Marie Boese, 72, Marion, who passed away Sept. 27, 2021, at Salina Regional Medical Center, will gather with friends at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021, at Valley United Methodist Church, Marion, for her memorial service, led by Pastor Martin Hollar.

After the service, Marjory will be laid to rest at Marion Cemetery.

Marjory was born Jan. 27, 1949, in Wichita to Raymond Francis and Marion Elizabeth (Bainter) Burke.

She was united in marriage to Jack Boese on Dec. 20, 2002, at Valley United Methodist Church.

She was a talented and busy wallpaper and painting contractor in the area for more than 30 years.

Marjory was an active member of Valley United Methodist Church.

Her greatest joy was her family, including her husband, Jack, of Marion; children, Brett Lynn Sardou of Clearwater and Jared Sardou of Marion; grandchildren, Dalton Sardou, Savanna Sardou, Kalia Spencer, and Kiera Spencer; and siblings, Carol Kelpin of Topeka, Cathy (and husband Steve) Burrell of Topeka, David (and wife Jean) Burke of Valley Center, and Mike (and wife Donna) Burke of Shell Knob, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial contributions in Marjory’s name may be directed to Valley United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
