Not jailed

An error in the county’s online jail roster caused some editions of last week’s paper to list an arrest that had not been made.

According to the roster, Trenton M. Miller was arrested Feb. 9 for reasons the roster did not disclose and released an hour later without a listed bond.

Undersheriff Larry Starkey said Friday that jailers made an error when booking Sara Jane N. Miller, 37, Hillsboro, to serve 48 hours in jail.

“Trenton Miller was entered by mistake,” Starkey said. “It wasn’t caught right away. It was deleted as soon as it was found.”

Sara Miller was sentenced Jan. 10 to serve two days in jail and a year’s probation and to pay $750 for possession of THC and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
