Criminal damage

An estimated $500 damage was done between 12:30 and 12:55 a.m. July 28 to two locks and a shipping container at a shed near Chisholm Trail and 240th Rds. on land owned by Steve Schmidt of Hesston.

Criminal damage

Five vintage chalkboards, wooden trim and a padlock at an abandoned structure near 290th and Bluestem Rds. sustained an estimated $80 in damage between 12:01 a.m. and 3 p.m. Aug. 4, The vandalism to property owned owned by Garry Krause of rural Council Grove was reported by neighbor Dennis Krause.
