These offense reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

Burglary, criminal damage

A carton of cigarettes, an energy drink, and a pair of work gloves were stolen between 2:52 and 2:54 a.m. Nov. 1 by a burglar who broke a window at Agri Trails service station in Durham. Total loss was estimated at $869.

HILLSBORO

Possession of stimulants, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia

Smoking pipes containing trace amounts methamphetamine and marijuana were seized during an arrest at an undisclosed time Nov. 8 at a residence in the 200 block of Elm St.

Jordan L. Fryhover, 24, Hillsboro, was being arrested on a warrant accusing him of burglary, criminal damage to property, and theft in separate case. During the arrest, assistant chief Randall Brazil discovered and tested two pipes.

In addition to being arrested on the warrant, Fryhover was jailed on suspicion of possessing stimulants, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. He remained in jail Tuesday in lieu of posting a total of $20,000 in surety bonds.

Criminal damage

A mailbox at the residence of Mesa S. Merrell, 23, in the 300 block of N. Lincoln St. sustained an estimated $50 damage between 3 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.
