Cheyanna Maggard, 22, was arrested after police were called to a disturbance at an undisclosed time Sunday afternoon between two related adults residing in the same house in the 200 block of S. Washington St.
She was jailed by officer Dustin Woodford on suspicion of domestic battery, interference with law enforcement, battery of a law enforcement officer, making a criminal threat, and disorderly conduct.
Details of the incident were not available because an official criminal complaint had not yet been completed.
She was being held without bond in Marion County Jail.
MARION
Drunken driving, fleeing, multiple driving offenses
A 1997 Ford Ranger led police on a five-block chase at 3:46 a.m. Feb. 6 after officer Aaron Slater attempted to stop it in the 700 block of E. Main St. following an altercation in the 300 block of Locust St., according to one of three offense reports released Monday, 11 days after the incident.
The chase ended in the 100 block of Lawrence St. with the arrest of Paul A. Huddleston, 26, of Marion.
He was jailed on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement, driving without a valid license, speeding, making an improper turn signal, and having a defective license tag light.
He was released 14 hours later after posting a $2,500 bond.
Aggravated assault, aggravated child endangerment, other offenses
A 9mm handgun was seized and a 22-year-old Lincolnville man was arrested after Paul A. Huddleston, who had been arrested in a police chase the night before, allegedly was targeted the next day by the person with whom he had been quarreling.
Huddleston, 26, Marion, told officer Dustin Woodford that after Huddleston was released from jail Johnathan C. Prebble, 22, rural Lincolnville, attempted to run him down with a 2002 Dodge Ram 150 while Huddleston was walking with others at 11:58 p.m. Feb. 7 in the 200 block of N. Cedar St.
Accompanying Huddleston at the time was a 15-year-old boy from the house in the 300 block of Locust St. where the quarrel reportedly occurred the day before.
Also listed as victims were a 25-year-old woman, Tracy A. Brown, who resides in the same apartment building as Huddleston, and a 20-year-old woman, Shaylee R. Creevan, who resides in a rental home next door to them.
They reportedly had to pull Huddleston away from the street after the pickup sped up and began driving toward him.
A 9mm Hi-Point handgun, eight rounds of ammunition, a holster, and an eight-round magazine for the handgun were seized by Woodford during his investigation.
Prebble was jailed on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon against Huddleston, aggravated child endangerment against the 15-year-old, disorderly conduct against the two women, and driving without vehicle liability insurance. Jail records indicate an additional recommended charge of felonious criminal use of a weapon.
He was released nearly three days later after posting a $10,000 bond. He previously was jailed Dec. 15 and 16 for failing to appear in court.
The physical description of Huddleston varies significantly in the two reports involving him.
Theft
A $220 sterling silver ring with cubic zirconium stone was reported stolen between 10 a.m. Feb. 6 and 8 a.m. Feb. 7 from the St. Luke Hospital desk of Kimberly Logan, 31, Hillsboro.
