Hillsboro’s board of education voted Monday to approve the construction of new utility services and hire new varsity coaches.

DCS Services submitted four construction bids totaling $2,632,712. The board approved all four unanimously.

DCS will replace a sewer line at the elementary school and a water line at the middle/high school. They will also install HVAC systems at both schools.

Tyler Clements resigned as middle school assistant football and assistant basketball coach and was hired as head basketball coach.

Rustyn Kerbs swapped with him, moving from head to assistant basketball coach.

Phil Oelke will replace Clements as assistant football coach.
