Why Trump?

To the editor:

In response to letters Dec. 18 by Brian Stucky, Jan. 20 by Harry E. Bennett of Wisconsin, Jan. 8 by C. Andrew Coomes of Florida, and all other uninformed Democrats who are baffled as to why 75% of Marion County voters supported Donald Trump:

Bennett states that not a single Trump supporter has bothered to answer the question of Trump’s overwhelming popularity in Marion and, I will add, across these United States and abroad.

First, it is my experience as a staunch conservative and American patriot that it is all but impossible to engage in an honest, knowledgeable, factual conversation with a dedicated Democrat. It is obvious to me our values are at separate ends of the spectrum.

The Democratic Party vehemently hates Trump. Their hatred for Trump is blatantly in our face every single day.

The Democratic Party continually spews out the all the same ol’ Trump-hating, character assassinating lies they have for the past eight years: Trump is a dictator. Trump is an insurrectionist. Trump will destroy our democracy. Trump thinks he is above the law. Trump is out to make himself and friends rich. Trump is a divider. Trump gives violent speeches. Trump doesn’t care about the low and middle class people. And on and on it goes. All lies!

On the other hand, Donald J. Trump focuses on real issues facing America and American citizens.

It should be clear we the people reject the Democrat-supported woke agenda. We are sick of abortion at any stage for any excuse; sick of illegals getting the red-carpet treatment while our veterans are homeless; sick of the heinous rapes and murder of our young girls by illegals; sick of the transgender and drag queen perversion; sick of men in women’s sports and showering in girls’ locker rooms; sick of all the waste, abuse and fraud of our tax dollars; sick of child sex trafficking; sick of sending billions of dollars to Hamas and other terrorist groups while turning our backs on our allies; sick of the DEI idiocy; sick of the lawful infestation of our Justice Department; sick of the FBI targeting Christians and parents; sick of gender-affirming procedures on kids; sick of the Biden crime family cover-up; and, yes, sick of the glaring lies told about Biden’s health, Hunter’s laptop, COVID, voter fraud, Ukraine, and all the embarrassing incompetence we witnessed in every government department over the past four years.

I could go on and on and on and on, but I hope I answered Bennett’s question as why most Americans everywhere overwhelmingly support Trump.

I will also suggest Bennett and his fellow Democrats consider watching other stations for their news rather than CNN and MSMBC so they too may be enlightened to the truth.

We the people want a commonsense president, Thank you Father God for President Donald J. Trump!
